Are you willing to help feed 150 families this week?
What if just a few hours of your time could help make a difference for 150 families in our community?
At the Cindy Ramsey Center, every volunteer plays a part in something bigger. Behind every grocery cart filled, every shelf stocked, and every neighbor welcomed is a team of people who have chosen to show up and serve.
And this week, we're asking you to be one of them.
Roughly 150 families come through our doors each market. We need 25 volunteers to help make it possible.
At the Cindy Ramsey Center, we work to provide more than food. We strive to create an experience where every neighbor feels welcomed, valued, and supported.
But we can't do it without volunteers.
Our indoor markets have various roles for volunteers. Market floor volunteers consist of those who help with carts, passing out produce or meat, helping stock the shelves as needed, and much more!
You Don't Need Special Skills. Just a Willing Heart.
One of the most common misconceptions about volunteering is that you need experience, special training, or an entire day to give.
Our Market Floor Volunteers do not need any prior training, we have 4 hour shifts, and all the necessary things you need in order to complete your shift. So that means, all you have to do is show up! The rest is on us.
What Can a Few Hours Really Accomplish?
More than you might think.
A few hours can mean shelves are stocked and ready when neighbors arrive.
A few hours can mean food is organized, carts are available, and families can move through our market with dignity.
A few hours can mean a neighbor is greeted with a smile during a difficult season.
And when volunteers come together, those small acts of service become something extraordinary.
